Jean-Paul Meyer, age 67, lives in Paris, France, with his wife. He was the general manager of Le Bridgeur Company, magazine and shops, and is still a journalist with columns in L'express, weekly circulation of 700,000, and in Journal du Dimanche, weekly circulation of 500,000. He is a member of the board of directors of the French Federation, member of appeal committees for EBL and WBF, chief commentator WBF, bulletin coordinator for EBL.

He is many times French championship winner, European pairs championship winner and one second place, twice a member of French team in European open teams championship.

Speaks French, English, and understands German.
