Niek Brink
is 25 until the end of May, 2005,
and afterwards at least 26. He is
still a student, hoping to
graduate next month. His bridge
accomplishments include placing
second at the European juniors in
2000, Australian Men's pairs
champion in 2004, European
students winner 1999, several
Dutch youth titles. He asks the
question, "Why does the
minimum age for a senior rise the
next five years, and does the
maximum age for a junior not do
so?"
At present
he resides in Tilburg, but could
be somewhere else when he gets a
job after graduating. He speaks
Dutch and English.
