Roberto Barbosa de Oliveira, 24 years old, is a college student and auxiliar production manager, residing in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Since 2000 he has been a member of 1st Brazilian Junior Team. In 2001 he played in the World Junior Championship. In 2004 he finished 4thplace in Brazilian Open team trials. In 2004 he won the 2004 Zonal Junior Championship, and Brazilian Open Teams championship. He finished in 4thplace in the Brazilian Open team trials in 2005. He is going to the 2005 World Junior Championship in Sydney, Australia.

He speaks Portuguese, English, and a little bit of Spanish. He is the son of José Barbosa de Oliveira who has many National/Zonal wins.
